Step 3: Fill in the configuration details

  • Gateway name: Choose a recognizable name
  • Hosting Location: Select the country in which you want to host the data

The Gateway is created automatically.

Note that the hosting of the data is through Google Cloud. This means that it falls under the U.S. Cloud Act, which allows the data to be viewed by U.S. authorities under certain circumstances. If you avoid this, we recommend setting up server side tracking via Google Tag Manager with our regular setting. With this solution, you choose the processing location yourself and it does not fall under the Cloud Act.

Step 4: Add subdomain

Add a CNAME record in your DNS hosting. Make sure your subdomain is configured correctly.

With these simple steps, you can set up the Meta Conversions API Gateway without any technical knowledge and start optimizing your Meta ads right away.
