Download, Import and use a TAGGRS Templates

Downloading, importing and using a TAGGRS Server Side Tracking Template is a simple process that allows you to quickly and efficiently implement server side tracking on your website. Here are the steps to follow:

  • Create a TAGGRS account
  • Go to the Templates Gallery within the Dashboard
  • Search for the template you want to download

Next, there are 2 options to access:

Download your Desired Template in JSON which you can then import back into your own Google Tag Manager Container.

      Add your email address and you will be added in the latest version. Please note that your mail address is visible to other users.


      Editing an imported template

      Once a tag or variable template is imported from the gallery, you can:

      • Copy settings for tags and triggers: Use our GTM Copy Paste Tool for easy copying and pasting of GTM settings.
      • Export and import Templates into your own GTM container: when you do this, everything is ready for you right away, you only need to change a few settings yourself.

      Pause or delete unused tags

      The error message “File format is invalid” probably occurs because you are trying to import a Server Container template into a Web Container, which leads to compatibility issues. To solve this problem, you must first create a server container. Then Import the template again into the newly created server container.
