Using TAGGRS Webhook Tester
Using the roadmap below, you can learn how to use the TAGGRS Webhook Tester to test your webhooks.
1. Open the GTM preview mode (Server Container).
The first step is to open the preview mode in the server container. Not yet familiar with testing in Sgtm? Then check out our Server Side Tracking testing blog.
2. Go to the request previewer
To open the request previewer, click on the three dots at the top right here.
3. Copy HTTP server preview header
Copy the HTTP server preview header, which is the top code seen in the picture below.
4. Open TAGGRS Webhook Tester.
Next, we can paste this preview header into the TAGGRS Webhook Tester. Open the TAGGRS Webhook Tester within the dashboard under the test section.
5. HTTP server preview header add Webhooks Tester
Then paste the HTTP server preview header code into the input field and activate the tool.
Once this is active, within GTM, as soon as the webhook event fires, you can see it should come in.
