The TAGGRS Infrastructure provides a solid, proprietary server solution separate from external parties such as Google. This page explains how our unique infrastructure, automatic migrations, advanced storage options and streamlined data flow contribute to continuous and fast tracking regardless of server location.
TAGGRS chooses its own path, separate from the major players, and has a layout conceived and set up by TAGGRS itself. This departs from the usual reliance on Google’s infrastructure, which many SST Hosting parties use. TAGGRS servers are strategically distributed around the world and do not rely on Google Cloud servers. This independence provides a solid foundation for continuous and fast tracking, regardless of server location.
At TAGGRS, we understand that in today’s fast-moving environment, speed, reliability AND compliance are super important. That’s why we let you take advantage of servers in multiple, strategically chosen locations worldwide. But what does this mean specifically?
1. Better Load Times:
Because our servers are distributed, data can be submitted to you or your end users faster. This leads to faster loading times for websites, which improves the user experience.
2. Robust Data Protection:
Our multiple server locations provide an additional layer of protection by offering dual storage options. Thus, your data is always processed securely.
3. Improved Uptime:
With servers in multiple locations, we guarantee that your service always stays online. Should a server go down, others simply take over.
4. GDPR-Compliance:
By putting your server in the right location, you are also more compliant with GDPR laws. This ensures that the storage and processing of your data are in line with current privacy laws.
5. Scalability:
As you grow, we grow with you. Our extensive network of servers makes it easy to expand without sacrificing performance.
When a server approaches its capacity, TAGGRS’ automatic migration system ensures a seamless transition to a less loaded server. This ensures continuous fast tracking and balanced server load. The migration has been carefully designed to provide each TAGGRS Server with the best possible performance, even during peak loads.
With TAGGRS, data is distributed across multiple servers, a strategy that guarantees constant online tracking even if a server goes down. The software is isolated into primary (Server Side Tracking) and secondary (viewing request, analytical tools, etc.) When the secondary software fails, the primary continues. This minimizes the risk of data loss and ensures proper infrastructure.
Your TAGGRS server is directly activated in one of our Datacenter locations spread around the world. Each rack within our TAGGRS Server and Storage platform is equipped with redundant network connections and two independent power supplies (2N), each equipped with its own Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) and diesel generator.
The TAGGRS data flow begins at the website, where the data begins its journey to the subdomain, identified by a DNS with a unique IP address. From here, the data is routed to the loadbalancer, which acts as a kind of distributor. This loadbalancer distributes data among tracking servers distributed worldwide to ensure balanced distribution and efficient handling. When one of these servers fails, the rest picks it up so no data is lost.
In the scenario that you are in the preview mode of Google Tag Manager, a separate server is enabled to handle the data. Within the structure of the loadbalancer there is also a syslog that is responsible for saving the logs (saving anonymized data).
The loadbalancer also has the capacity to add additional data via the TAGGRS data enricher, or to remove certain data, such as removing IP addresses when operating in TAGGRS’s GDPR mode.
After these stages, the data is forwarded to Google Tag Manager, from where you can forward the data to your favorite platforms such as Google Analytics. This entire process constitutes the TAGGRS data flow, a streamlined process that ensures your data is transferred quickly and securely, ready to be analyzed and provide valuable insights
The panel (dashboard) is completely separate from the Server side tracking environment. So even if the panel fails, Server Side tracking still works.
